I was born and raised in New Jersey. My mother is Irish, Italian, and Polish, while my father is of Chinese descent. Being in a mixed-race family has opened my eyes to the fact that people are people. We may come from different cultures and backgrounds, but we are all just people. People often label me as Asian, but I think of myself as just Phoebe.
“I’m a person who has felt love, pain, and happiness, just like everyone else.”
