My people are those who have challenged me.
I am the eldest of eight beautiful “Hermanos Guerreros.”
Each one of them navigating through the chaos, “isms’ and systems in our worlds.
I have come to realize my struggles are not just my own but that of others.
May my dreams and hopes continue to ground me.
May my ancestors’ whispers, cuentos, poder continue to guide me and that I continue to walk firme on madre tierra creating, teaching, and amando.
Let my story be a whisper.
